Mirroring Workouts to a TV or Streaming Device
You can mirror your workouts from your phone, tablet, or Mac computer to your TV or Streaming device (Roku, Chromecast, etc.). This feature allows you to get the full workout experience on the big screen. Read on to learn how to set this up.
From an iPhone or iPad:
Swipe down from the top right corner of your Apple device
Select the “Screen Mirroring” icon - the one with the overlapping rectangles
Select your TV or target device from the list and tap them on
Swipe up to make the settings screen disappear
To disconnect, follow Steps 1 & 2 and tap on “Stop mirroring”
From a Mac computer:
Click on the control center icon in the top right corner of your Mac
Click the Screen Mirroring icon, then choose Apple TV
Select your TV or target device from the list
To disconnect, follow Steps 1-3 again
Having issues?
If your TV or device (Roku, Chromecast, etc.) is not showing in the list of available options, it might not be compatible. Check Apple for the latest list of compatible devices or do the following:
Make sure that your AirPlay-compatible devices are turned on and near each other.
Check that the devices are updated to the latest software and are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Restart the devices that you want to use with AirPlay or screen mirroring.
From Android to your TV:
Ensure your Android device is connected to the same WiFi network as your TV
Swipe down from the top right corner of your Android device
Select “SmartView" or in other Android phones it can be "Wireless Projection"
In some Android devices, you will be prompted to enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi before you can select the device you want to cast to
Select your TV from the list
From Android to your Chromecast:
Open Google Home
Select the device you want to mirror to
Select “Cast my screen”
Select “Cast screen”
Select “Start now”
NOTE: Not all Android devices and/or smart TVs are Chromecast-enabled; in this case, screen mirroring is a good alternative.
